In SJD language, the count of "one" is generally subject to the character of what is being counted. If it is just normal counting of numbers the word "sa" is used. However the word "miso" or "tunggal" is best used if we are referring to the number of unit of a subject.

LEARN SIMPLE CONVERSATION
Sang Jati Dusun language is simple to learn. Similar to the Malay and English languages it is complete with its own grammar and vocabulary.
First, let us learn how to carry out simple conversations in Sang Jati Dusun (SJD) followed by its translation in English:
Example 1: Talking with a sports friend
1. Salamat sambut. Uno barito mu?
Good morning. How are you?
2. Salamat sambut. Barito jaye mancoi.
Good morning. I'm well.
3. Kan manaw li dambo kow?
Where are you going?
4. Jaye kan manaw basimbul.
I want to go jogging.
5. Eno mancoi untuk kasihatan.
That's good for health.
6. Banor. Ekow andi maya?
That's right. You want to join?
7. Andi. Tarimo kasi. Jaye sebok kan ngantamu kawan.
No. Thank you. I'm busy to meet a friend.
8. Mancoi no. Jaye manaw ti.
That's good. I go now.
9. OK. Lain kali tado katamu lagi.
OK. We meet again next time.
Example 2: Talking with a stranger
1. Esoi ngaran mu?

4. Sa bungkus dua ngapod sen.Limo bungkus aro murah kadiok. Walu ngapod sen gala.
A packet costs twenty cents. Five packets is less costlier. Eighty cents only.
